Viva Fiesta! A Celebration of Lifelong Learning

San Antonio Attractions

We have put together some suggestions for conference attendees and their family on Sunday, April 17, 2011.  We didn't have a large enough group to organize transportation but rental cars, cabs and even downtown trolleys are convenient. These suggestions are just a few of the many things happening in San Antonio that weekend.  From walking around downtown to venturing to one of the final Fiesta events, you are sure to enjoy the day.

Sunday, April 17

Fiesta Arts & Crafts Show

On the River Walk artists sell their creations along the walkways of the San Antonio River from 10am to 5pm on Sunday.  It is free and open to the public.

The Valero Texas Open's last day is Sunday, April 17th.  It is held at the TPC San Antonio and the JW Marriott Hill Country Resort and Spa.

Shopping in San Marcos, Texas at the Prime Outlets

The outlet mall provide some great shopping.  Travel is approximately 45 minutes one way which leaves plenty of time to sample your choice of designer outlets and still make it back for refreshments along the Riverwalk in the evening.

A Day in Old Mexico & Charreada
